Today I will tell you guys about the different type of tanks that are currently used by Indian Army:- Currently, Indian Army operates three types of tanks that are listed below:- Arjun MBT T-90 Bhishma T-72 Ajeya ARJUN MBT:- Arjun main battle tank is a third-generation tank designed and developed by Defence Research & Development Organisation. TATA Kestrel - Modern Armoured Personnel Carrier

Today I will tell you guys about TATA's Modern Armoured Personnel Carrier - "KESTREL" Kestrel is a Modern Armoured Personnel Carrier for Indian Army Developed and manufactured by Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) and TATA motors together. It's design is based on most of the western Armoured personnel carrier. The main reason/motive to develop this Armoured Personnel Carrier is to replace the old Russian era Armoured personnel carrier and BMP s. (BMPs are the Russian versions of Infantry Fighting Vehicle) Currently Indian Army is operating soviet origins BMP-1, BMP-2 and variou types of Armoured Personnel Carrier. AMCA Project of India

Today I will tell you guys about India's one of the biggest project - AMCA AMCA stand for advance medium combat aircraft which is under development phase, and is being developed by aerospace industry team of India which consists of the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) as a design firm and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) as a primary contractor and main assembly firm.  AMCA is a 5th generation figher aircraft, in simple words it is going to be the best aircraft of Indian Air force fleet. Today's top 5 Defence Updates are as follows:- Trump Administration agrees to provide/supply predator drones to India. These drones can be used as unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV). Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Defence to make Unmanned Remote Operating Vehicles that can scan the Sea Surface. Indian Government wants National Security Guards (NSG) Commandos to be set up in Kashmir to encounter insurgents attacks. NSGs are trained for anti-terrorist operations. Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully tests indigenous engines "MANIC" to power Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)  in the Himalayan regions. UK Government offers Line of Credit for 20 Hawk advanced trainer aircraft to India. Line of credit is like a loan in defence sector. Today's top 5 Defence Updates are as follows:-    Halt in the deal of Rs. 2,000 crore of Indian Airforce of 20 Hawk advanced jet trainer aircraft for 3 years.  After Gaganshakti exercise of Indian Airforce, Indian Army will join the 2 weeks Jungle warfare exercise in Malaysia with Malaysian Army.  CRPF gets security related expenditure funds directly from Government for the first time. India-Russia likely to sign S-400 deal before Modi-Putin Summit before October.
