All About HAL LCH (Light Combat Helicopter)

HAL LCH is a light combat helicopter also known as attack helicopter manufactured by HAL (Hindustan aeronautics limited) in India.
They decided to develop HAL LCH after Kargil war as at that time Indian Airforce lack in such types of high altitude attack helicopter. Development programme for HAL LCH was launched in the year of 2006. First test of LCH prototype was done on 29 march of 2010. Also LCH became the first attack helicopter to land on the world's highest war peak Siachen.
On 26 August of 2017 Govt. announced full rate production of LCH.
The curret status of LCH is that, the development and trials for this attack helicopter have been completed and is going under full rate production stage for Indian Airforce.

Date of Induction of HAL LCH in Indian Airforce is in-between the year 2018. As production for LCH is already started.
